Welcome to the New York State Municipal Benefit Coalition (NYSMBC) website. On our new site you will find news and information about the NYSMBC and how it can help lower health insurance benefit costs for public sector employers.
Our website is designed to be an educational resource for school districts and municipalities across the state that are interested in learning more about the health insurance industry and lowering the cost of health insurance plans for employees.
The NYSMBC wants to help you gain a better understanding of the reasons that drive up health insurance costs, and show you how to reduce those costs while still providing quality health insurance coverage for employees. Knowledge is power, and the more you know, the better equipped you will be to make decisions about health care that will save money. Learn more
